إكسديناري هيروز هم فرقة روك كورية من ستة أعضاء، لكن بالنسبة لي هم أكثر من مجرد "فرقة آيدول". موسيقاهم تمزج بين الروك والميتال والبانك مع لمسات إلكترونية، وكل ألبوم عندهم يحاول يجرب صوتًا جديدًا بدل البقاء في نفس القالب. أكثر شيء يميزهم أن الأعضاء يشاركون في كتابة وتلحين أغانيهم، وهذا يجعل من كل عمل لهم يحمل شخصياتهم وأفكارهم بشكل واضح.

رغم أن لديهم لحظات مليئة بالطاقة والصخب، إلا أن أغانيهم تتناول أيضًا مواضيع مثل القلق، فقدان الشغف، الوحدة، والرغبة في الاستمرار رغم الصعوبات. لهذا تجد موسيقاهم قادرة على أن تكون صاخبة ومريحة في الوقت نفسه.

Xdinary Heroes is a six-member Korean rock band, but to me, they are more than just an "idol band." Their music blends rock, metal, and punk with electronic elements, and with every album, they experiment with a new sound rather than sticking to the same mold. What truly sets them apart is the members' active involvement in writing and composing their songs, ensuring that every track clearly reflects their own personalities and ideas.

While they certainly have high-energy, raucous moments, their songs also tackle themes like anxiety, the loss of passion, loneliness, and the determination to keep going despite hardships. That is why their music manages to be both loud and comforting at the same time.

If you enjoy rock bands that aren't afraid to experiment and that combine powerful performances with genuine emotion, Xdinary Heroes is definitely worth a listen.

البداية. مراهقة، تمرد، فوضى، وصوت يقول: "لن أكون كما تريدون." خام وغير مصقول، لكنه مليء بالشخصية. The beginning. Adolescence, rebellion, chaos, and a voice declaring: "I won't be what you want me to be." Raw and unpolished, yet brimming with character.

ألبوم الاكتشاف. كأن الفرقة تقول: "هذا ما نستطيع فعله." فيه تجارب كثيرة، من الروك الصاخب إلى الأغاني الأكثر عاطفية، ويثبت أن الفرقة ليست محصورة في لون واحد. A breakthrough album. It is as if the band is saying, "This is what we can do." It features a wide range of experiments—from loud, energetic rock to deeply emotional songs—proving that the band is not confined to a single genre.

Overload Overload

الطاقة الخالصة. بالنسبة لي هذا الألبوم هو الأكثر "Xdinary Heroes". صاخب، ممتع، مجنون، ومليء بالأغاني التي تجعلك تريد إعادة تشغيلها فورًا. Pure energy. To me, this album is the most "Xdinary Heroes" one yet—loud, fun, wild, and packed with songs that make you want to hit replay immediately.

Deadlock Deadlock

صوت أثقل، ورسائل أكثر جدية. تشعر أن الفرقة بدأت تعرف بالضبط من هي، وأصبحت أكثر ثقة في موسيقاها. A heavier sound and more serious messages. You get the feeling that the band is starting to know exactly who it is and has become more confident in its music.

Livelock Livelock

رغم اسمه، أحسه ألبومًا يتنفس أكثر. فيه توازن جميل بين القوة والهدوء، وكأنه يأخذك في رحلة ليلية مليئة بالأضواء. Despite its name, I feel it is an album that breathes more. It strikes a beautiful balance between power and tranquility, as if taking you on a nighttime journey filled with lights.

أكثر ألبوم أحسست فيه أنهم لا يخافون من كسر القواعد. يلخص لك هذا الألبوم إلى أي حد يمكن للفرقة أن تصل من خلال إبداعها، ينتقل بين أنماط مختلفة جدًا، لكنه يبقى متماسكًا بطريقة غريبة. This is the album where I felt most strongly that they weren't afraid to break the rules. It encapsulates the full extent of the band's creative reach, shifting between vastly different styles yet remaining strangely cohesive.

ألبوم أكثر هدوءًا ونضجًا، يمزج بين الطاقة والتأمل، ويعكس ثقة الفرقة في هويتها الموسيقية. A calmer, more mature album that blends energy with introspection, reflecting the band's confidence in its musical identity.

Beautiful Mind Beautiful Mind

بالنسبة لي هذا الألبوم يشبه شخصًا تصالح مع نفسه. ما زال فيه روك قوي، لكنه أكثر إشراقًا وعاطفية، وفيه ثقة وراحة لم تكن موجودة في بداياتهم. لا يحاول إثبات شيء؛ بل يعرض هويتهم كما هي. To me, this album feels like someone who has made peace with themselves. It still features powerful rock, but it is brighter and more emotional, conveying a sense of confidence and ease that wasn't present in their early days. It doesn't try to prove anything; instead, it simply presents their identity as it is.

LXVE to DEATH LXVE to DEATH

ألبوم مظلم، عاطفي، وثقيل. يدور حول الحب عندما يصبح هوسًا أو ألمًا، لذلك يحمل طاقة قوية ومشاعر متطرفة. أعتبره من أكثر أعمالهم جرأة من ناحية الصوت. A dark, emotional, and heavy album. It revolves around love when it turns into obsession or pain, carrying a powerful energy and intense emotions. I consider it one of their boldest works in terms of sound.

DEAD AND DEAD AND

ألبوم يتحدث عن النهايات كبدايات جديدة. رغم اسمه، لا أشعر أنه كئيب، بل يحمل إحساسًا بالأمل والمضي قدمًا. موسيقيًا يبدو أكثر نضجًا واتزانًا، مع استمرار ميلهم إلى الروك الثقيل كما يبدو هذا الألبوم أكثر الكترونية مقارنة بباقي موسيقاهم لحد الآن. An album that speaks of endings as new beginnings. Despite its title, I don't find it gloomy; rather, it conveys a sense of hope and moving forward. Musically, it feels more mature and balanced—maintaining their inclination toward heavy rock—while also appearing more electronic compared to the rest of their music to date.

أنا و أبطالي ❤︎ My heroes and Me ❤︎

أول مرة استمعت فيها إلى Xdinary Heroes كانت مع أغنية الترسيم Happy Death Day. أعتقد أنهم أحدثوا شيئًا مختلفًا وقتها؛ ففي وسط موجة فرق الكيبوب التقليدية ظهروا كفرقة روك تحمل هوية مميزة. لكن في ذلك الوقت لم أكن من محبي الروك أصلًا، لذا لم تلفتني الفرقة كثيرًا، ونسيت أمرها تمامًا.

في تلك الفترة كنت منغمسة في عالم الكيبوب، وكان يشغل جزءًا كبيرًا من اهتمامي. لكن مع مرور الوقت بدأت أشعر أنني لم أعد أستمتع به كما في السابق. الموسيقى لم تعد تثير حماسي، كما أنني كلما عرفت أكثر عن طريقة عمل شركات الترفيه الكورية، أصبحت أنظر إلى بعض جوانب الصناعة بشكل مختلف. شعرت أنني أريد موسيقى تبدو أكثر حرية وقربًا من أصحابها، شيئًا يجعلني أشعر أن الفنان يعبر عن نفسه فعلًا.

ومرت الأيام... ثم، بطريقة لا أعرف كيف أشرحها، لمعت صورة Xdinary Heroes في ذهني فجأة. (⁠•⁠▽⁠•⁠;⁠) فقلت لنفسي: "لماذا لا أجرب الاستماع لهم مرة أخرى؟"

وكان ذلك بعد صدور ألبوم Overload.

هذه المرة... كل شيء تغير.

لو طلب مني أن أصف موسيقى Xdinary Heroes بثلاث كلمات، فسأختار: التنوع، التفرد، والمتعة.

قد يبدو هذا مبالغة، لكن بالنسبة لي موسيقاهم من النوع الذي يوقظ عقلك ويجعلك متحمسًا للاستماع إلى الأغنية التالية. أصواتهم مميزة، طاقتهم قوية، وكل عودة تحمل شيئًا جديدًا دون أن تفقد هويتهم. هذه الأشياء هي التي جعلتني أقع في حب الفرقة، ومنذ ذلك الوقت أصبحت موسيقاهم جزءًا من أيامي.

اليوم لم أعد أتابع أخبارهم أو كل محتوى ينشرونه كما كنت أفعل سابقًا، وأظن أنني ببساطة نضجت وتغيرت. لكن ما لم يتغير هو المشاعر والذكريات الجميلة التي تركتها موسيقاهم في داخلي. ❤︎

The first time I listened to Xdinary Heroes was when they debuted with Happy Death Day. I think they brought something different at the time. In the middle of the wave of traditional K-pop idol groups, they emerged as a rock band with a distinct identity. But back then, I wasn't a rock fan at all, so the band didn't really catch my attention, and I completely forgot about them.

At that time, I was deeply immersed in the world of K-pop, and it took up a huge part of my interests. But as time went by, I started to realize that I wasn't enjoying it the way I used to. The music no longer excited me, and the more I learned about how Korean entertainment companies operate, the more my perspective on some parts of the industry began to change. I found myself wanting music that felt freer and more connected to the people creating it—something that made me feel like the artist was genuinely expressing themselves.

Time passed... and then, in a way I still can't explain, the image of Xdinary Heroes suddenly popped into my head. (⁠•⁠▽⁠•⁠;⁠) So I thought to myself, "Why not give them another try?"

That was after the release of their album Overload.

This time... everything changed.

If I had to describe Xdinary Heroes' music in just three words, I would choose: diversity, originality, and fun.

It may sound like an exaggeration, but to me, their music is the kind that wakes up your mind and makes you excited to hear the next song. Their voices are distinctive, their energy is incredible, and every comeback brings something new without losing their identity. Those are the things that made me fall in love with the band, and ever since then, their music has become a part of my everyday life.

These days, I no longer keep up with every piece of news or every bit of content they release like I used to. I think I've simply grown up and changed. But what hasn't changed are the beautiful memories and emotions their music left with me. ❤︎
